LR3 2005 Key from eBay
I just purchased a used key on ebay for my LR3 2005. It had a blank blade which I got done. So now I went to the dealer to get the key reprogram for my car but the dealer is telling me that they cannot do it unless the key is for my car. something about not been able to get to the program... -

I'm going to use the dealer to install it. they are charging me $210 Canadian. Not too bad and if anything goes wrong its their responsibility. I'm also going to buy the 2 component needed from them. they are charging me $500 each... ouch, but I haven't found anything much cheaper then that... -

for the 2005 LR3 HSE you need two units: 1- VUB501152 Install Kit which includes a new button assy for the steering wheel 2- LR006279, Voice Module for the phone system.
