Yes - I suspect we will take our LR's in for servicing, they will be shipped to India via fedex and returned the next day...maybe in India they can get it corrected the first time... -

Tire question part II
Finding 18" rims that will fit the LR3 (especially if you want LR) has become a full time job for me. After getting quoted $600/rim from the dealer I will require a second job just to buy the rims/tires. I've had zero luck on ebay and craig's list.... -

Towing - Who has towed what?
Nice pics. I don't tow anything, but I would imagine that you would need to map out gas stations along your route. At 15-19 highway MPG without towing anything - I couldn't even imagine the MPG while towing. -

settling after shut off
Yes - 'delivered functionality' as they say. It will let out a 'fart' of air shortly after turning off ignition. -

Nathan - I think the 05-06 are the same - change happen with the 07. I'm waiting to hear when they will be available for my 07. -

I was considering buying a roof top tent + a Hannibal rack. Is the general consensus that this is a bad idea? -

Nav Voice Recognition issues
Practice, practice, practice. Believe it or not, mine gets better (able to actually do what I ask) . If you take your LR3 in for service you might want to check with the dealer and see if there are any "updates" that you may need to the software. Good Luck -

The dealer wants you to take what he has on the lot - it's easier for them to do so. Stick to your guns or go to another dealer. I have an '07 HSE. I wanted a black interior and the HD package. At my dealership it was 'unheard of' to want a black interior. After a week or so they 'found'... -

active locking rear diff
As some folks have said the $500 cost should be a no brainer...When I tried to find an '07 LR2 with the rear locker my dealer couldn't find one - I'd have to wait for months (I also wanted a black interior another item that doesn't seem to be readily available). Since the option is only $500... -

2007 LR3 owners, how has the quality been so far?
Both my wife and I have '07 LR3 HSE. Both have approximately 7k each on the odometer. We have had no major problems. Only problem so far was a speaker that was replaced by the dealer. These are great vehicles and should not be compared to the Q7 or Touareg - they are not 4x4's. As for... -

nooby questions
The '07 LR3 HSE doesn't have the auto down feature for windows (using the key fob). I wish it did! As for the climate control I think it works great - zero problems. I hope you decided to by an LR3. It is a great vehicle and like you say it is loaded! -
