No...I air down 10lbs [drop], not air down to 10lbs. So that's about 25-30lbs depending upon the tire you're running. Don't want to go below that [in my humble opinion] as you increase the possibility of rolling off your rim and/or getting sand inside the bead which causes leaks.
When we drive in the sand:
low range [so you have the power you need before you get stuck]
air down 10lbs
sand mode [spin only when you need to]
2-3 gear but Drive works fine for 90% of the time
slow starts with "aggressively gradual" acceleration
keep momentum at all costs [especially when...
Not sure of exact term but I was led to believe it was the trailing arm. It's used in alignment and does have adjustability along it. The bolt in question is the one which actually failed me [another thread] a couple of weeks ago when it broke in half.
The example I mentioned of it loosening...
Sounds like what happened to me. Turns out my back right trailing arm was super loose [you could spin the washer!]. Tightened, aligned and problem was fixed. Could have been disastrous on the freeway if it completely came out.
Anyone know what this could be?
It's as if a heavy bolt is broken and rolling front/aft under my left foot. It stays near to the rocker panel but is not in the rocker panel tube, it's under the flat floorboard as if sandwiched between two panels in an empty space.
Curious!
I was in the heat this weekend an my ambient was low. It was over 100 out but the gauge said [even after 3 hours of sitting in the sun] 64! I too would like to know where the sensor is so I can check to see if it's covered in mud or something else which could be causing this.
Some customers and I have one and love it. It looks authentic and is well made and very affordable. We had ours built for a roof top tent with a tire carrier over the sunroof. I have since modified it to be a basket [didn't like that kind of weight up there]. They now make them with a basket in...
Hey all-
FYI--We're not retailing the Rover Specialties sliders any longer. We've had some problems reaching them over the past few weeks which left some interested customers without the sliders they wanted when they needed them. I'd suggest reaching out to them directly for any purchases or...
My wife's the same. Well......at least the part about camping Ramada style and hating anything to do with riding around in a car especially off road.
We did a women-only Dipped in Green training [Nathan shot the photos and was one of the excellent trainers btw]...
I connected with Sergio at Baja Racks and confirmed they are building them upon request and have not added them to their range yet due simply to being busy.
Roof top tent appears to be $710 [flat style]
or the one with sides appears to be $750 [basket]
