Replaced the Transmission Shifter there a printed circuit board that goes bad not available new from the dealer is FOMOCO ford part find one on E bay cheers -

Check Intake manifold for condition and and replaced the gaskets that simple! -

Under car by the passanger side the catalitic converter is the connection from the purge valve check it an lube the seal may be your solution
