3.0 SCV6 P0089 code - anyone got a fault finding process to follow?

Those guys are very dodgy and are taking major risks to their personal safety. There's some seriously amatuerish winch work going on there. Shame about the vehicle, and an interesting tyre mix for offroading! -

TPMS settings with IID tool

Trying to find the right oil for my LR4 2016. I asked Catrol Canada for advice on alternatives to the unobtainable 0w20 E oil. The response from Castrol today: Castrol EDGE 0W-20 E was replaced with Castrol EDGE 0W-20 EC. Castrol EDGE 0W-20 EC is not available in Canada, only in the US... -

If your vehicle isn't throwing any major faults (there are almost always going to be some faults - many don't matter) I'd suggest that you perhaps consider leaving well alone. Used Vehicle Inspection Items and Would you Do This?
I wouldn't risk it. That sort of mileage in a car you know nothing about might turn a safe bet into a complete wreck. Better to leave it and go back to it when you have time to inspect it properly, then if you decide to buy take it to a local shop and put the correct fresh oil/filter in and take... -

This is aligned with the general view in the UK on KN filters; utter rubbish and not suitable for most vehicles and certainly not the LR3 or 4. -

ECO Auto Start/Stop Not Available
...one way to get the SS to stop working and not throw a fault light is to run a really weak main battery throughout the winter, as I found out (not a great plan).
