Lost all key fobs - 2015 LR4

We have lost both key fobs for our LR4. I was hoping that if we were able to have it towed to the dealer, it would be as simple as getting a replacement key fob, but the dealer is telling me that it could also require a key control module and a body control module and that it could be $3500 to replace. Can this possibly be correct? I am hoping for a better solution than this!

Good question, I haven't heard anyone ask it. Normally independent Land Rover mechanics (if around) charge less overall, but they may still stick it to you.

Maybe…. Interestingly, the dealer(using the key and fob codes, which they were able to look up) were able to replace my fobs without any of this other work.
