Key Fob Help - 2012 LR4

You can buy the smaller key fob casing and install the circuit board from the brick into it.
Just need some minor trimming of the circuit board to fit.

Mine only had one fob when I bought it, I bought a used factory fob from eBay ( smaller one) for ~$60 and coded it to get a second fob.
Only have one actual key ( emergency blade) though.

HI there :
Have two original rover keys one for an 09 L322 HSE and one for a 12 L322 HSE; GAP IID tool coming; assuming I have a locksmith cut the key for 09 can I use the gap tool to reprogram the blank FOBS using the GAP IID tool and/or do I need a special file; Im using a G3 gap tool btw,

Both key fobs need to be the same frequency. i.e. 315 MHz
