Jeep/Toyota guy needing your knowledge
The 3.5 V8 sounds great, but it's not very powerful. I had one in my '85 Ninety SW. Ended up swapping it for a 3.9 Efi. Much better, and widely available. Unless you get bery lucky, your '83 will need a bulkhead & chassis replacement. That will likely cost you north of $15k. Good luck! -

All: I'm on my 6th LR. Started off with a '96 Discovery 1 SD stick shift, then went to an '00 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. Dismal failure- so I bought a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Didn't work for me, so I bought an '04 Discovery 2 SE7. Then came an '07 Range Rover HSE, followed by an '08 LR3 SE. Now driving...- Paul K

HELP Stranded in Bozeman, Montana 10/30
Apparently, LR used a coating on the inside of the front & rear diff that eventually delaminated & worked its way into the bearings. Hence the failure. A new diff & bearings is the fix. Later LR3's had the issue addressed- mine had a new rear diff when I got it. Glad it worked out. How are you... -

Will 19" rims from an '03 MkIII Range Rover fit an '08 LR3?
All: Wheels came from a 2003 Range Rover MkIII/L322/Full size. I have seen ads where it says they will fit but need to know for sure before I commit to a 5 hour drive to get them! If anyone can confirm, I'd really appreciate it. . Paul. -
