GX460 which is not perfect but a decent ride. LX570 needs a refresh. Almost bought a LR4 or RRS a few weeks ago. Like a lot of things about the vehicles, but the horror stories don't seem to be diminishing, LR hasn't moved in JD Power and every professional review brings up reliability... -

Given the experience you both have had, I wouldn't take a replacement vehicle or extended warranty. Think about the amount of time you have wasted and how this has been handled. Actions of a customer focused company? I think not. -

As others have said, assuming it operates in the indicated frequencies of the lr4 homelink, you have to get the maintainence guy to get to activate the learn function on the opener. If you read the manual or contact home link, they will tell you the operating frequencies. Sometimes openers... -

Just tell them to replace or they can deal with your lawyer. If you do need to heir one, manuf will end up paying fees. Why continue to waste time? 31 days is 1 day outside of the cutoff for lemon law. -

I passed on the LR4 due to reliability issues. Dont think jd powers is falsifying their data. You can try a gx460. Been happy with my purchase. Maybe if LR gets it together a bit more I'll buy one next time around. -

I'd recommend a Lexus warranty. Theyll underwrite for non-Toyota manuf. Troy Dietrich at Creenfield CT Toyota is a great source for multiple forums. He also has other providers. Get it through LR dealer and prepared to be taken for a ride.
