Problems With the LR3
I ran your suggestion past them and they said could be......and that was it. They cleared the engine fault, so as far as they're concerned they fixed the problem! And to top it off, they de-programed my key! AWESOME -

So picked up my lr3 from the dealer where they've indicated that they know there's a fault, but they don't know where and that they know I'll get the christmas tree faults again! WOW....I feel so much better, and safe :(. Not sure if anyone else has any suggestions? Battery and brake switch... -

multiple error messages
Well had my 05 lr3 in 30 days ago with the exact same faults and the dealer said it was my brake pedal switch and recommended replacing the battery. Did all this and had all the same faults reoccur! Taking it in tomorrow. Let me know what you end up doing...I'll keep you posted on mine.... -

So, barely a month later and I have all the same faults going on even after a new brake switch and battery?????? And it was the dealership who fixed it!!! It should be under their warranty for their work, that is until they say it's something else....any ideas? -

I think I'll replace the battery anyway just for peace of mind hopefully correcting the issues. I can't say I love having my car go into "limp" mode while on the freeway....thanks for all your help....I let you know how it goes! -

So took my lr3 to the dealer to have it diagnosed since I still had an engine system fault, where they came back with it needing a new brake pedal switch to take care of the engine fault and as for the christmas affect with all the faults, recommended replacing the battery. Gonna let them fix... -

My dash red brake indicator was flashing with the trans icon lit....I had a few more? The dealership thinks it may be a leak somewhere. You have an 08 and you're having these problems? Mine is an 05 with almost 90k. I see on your dash that there isn't a big f indicating faults.... -

It could be because the first time it threw out any fault was when I hit my brakes pretty hard and it indicated an abs brake fault and then went away. Now I get a lot of different faults but if I let it sit overnight, restart in the morning, I only have a trans fault and engine system and... -

Tried that, said battery was fine. Car went back to normal, and then threw all the faults at me when I drove it on the freeway. Should I take to the dealer to check it out? -

I just had my 2005 lr3 blow every fault possible at me when it was driving just fine this morning....any ideas. It's happened before and then went back to normal. -

On a different note, does anybody else experience a slight jump or **** when braking to a complete stop in their lr3? And occasionally if I try to hit the gas too rapidly my whole car does this awful ****, like I ran over a big pothole! -

So I hear! The terminals look a little corroded, try to clean up before replacing! This battery is huge....how much do they run, cost wise?
