The lock for the tow receiver is made by Thule. Just go to your local Thule dealer with the number on the lock cylinder to get a replacement key. I think I paid $3.
Our dealership has moved twice in the last 15 years. The current and most recent locations do not include an off-road course, however, they still set up off-road events at least 2x/ year. We took a d5 out and it performed admirably.
