2016 LR4 - Genuine Trailer Harness help
After fighting for a bit I realize with the Genuine kit I just need to take the bumper cover off. Anyone have a parts book diagram or know anything specific for removal? I assume some if not all of the rear flares need to come off? I cannot get the wires to route well, and the attach points on...- unwreckitfrank

Did yours have the plastic insert like in my pics on the first post? That must either get removed or simply prevent the retainer from getting screwed on. It does seem like enough room for the big connectors in between.- unwreckitfrank

I got the NA setup from Paramus. Looks like rear cover needs to fully come off, still doesnt account for the inserts behind the bumper cover, but ill cross that bridge once i get to it.- unwreckitfrank

yeah, ill give it a shot. the space between the cover and metal support is really narrow. the connectors are huge. either way ill get it, just wasn't sure why it wasn't as the install doc, but not my first rover so no biggie. ill post up results.- unwreckitfrank

Yes, almost exactly the same. Different hitch plug, and 3 connector coming though lamp hole. Plastic piece in lower right is my issue. The location they want me to mount it is inaccessible.- unwreckitfrank

I did, I found one of my issues. I ordered the EU version, so the while I assumed they were the same, and that I could just adapt to my trailer, the NAS LR4 might have something in bumper area that the EU versions did not.- unwreckitfrank

Hello All, Adding trailer wiring harness and stuck on the rear bumper area. Looks like I have to remove the rear bumper cover as something is in the way of the harness connector mounting plate.
