I swapped out my radio unit that died with 1 that I purchased on EBay. I contacted the local dealer and gave him the VIN# of the truck it was pulled from for a code. I'm replacing the BeCM and ECM with a used synced pair and have instructions on how to remove the BeCM but unclear as to how the ECM is removed. Appearance seems to show that the unit is forced in between a metal clip and is removed by pulling out the metal unit after it is unplugged and...- vjm530

97 lr rr 4.0 ecu/ecm Can anyone tell me how the ECU/ECM is held in place in the housing under the hood? I don't see any bolts or screws but maybe held by a spring clip (forced). Can anyone verify this please? Thanks.- vjm530
