Water...Help!
Well, they were right, they replaced the MAF and held out their hand for $360. Oh well, its back on the road and they had it fixed before I got back from my trip so all is good I guess. BTW, roversnorth has maf's for $139 which is half of what they charged me for mine....ouch... BTW, i think...- witecaphyr4u

Water...Help!
Well, ended up taking it to the mechanic since I had to head out of town this week. They are saying the MAF, but im not sure if I buy that since when I disconnected it, it still wouldnt run right, and threw a MIL. They are checking part pricing and availability, so will hopefully know something...- witecaphyr4u

Water...Help!
It definately appears to be a fuel issue. I can get it idling and spray ether in the air filter and it will rev up like normal. Does anyone know how the fuel system works, basic description? Does the ecu use the throttle position sensor for fuel control, or is fuel control determined by the...- witecaphyr4u

Another tire size thread
I tried search but could find the answer. Will a 30x11.5x16 fit a stock 03 disco without mods? Im looking at the TSL Thornbird if that matters. Its only like 1" taller than stock IIRC but im more worried about the width. The tire also comes in a 31x11x16 which is almost 1.5" narrower tread...- witecaphyr4u

Taking bets....
Our ABS/TC/HDC lights came on a little while ago. Mentioned it to the dealer when we were in for an oil change, they said they said they got a code for the sensor, but tested just the sensor and it was good, replaced SLABS computer. Still getting lights (mostly when its raining/in a car wash)...- witecaphyr4u

Looking at a '99 Series II Discovery...
Price seems pretty good. Our local dealer currently has a '00 base model with dual sunroof's for 17500 with 62K, however it is certified so 2yr warranty.- witecaphyr4u

Trailer hitch wiring harness
The manual talks about a harness that connects behind the tail lights. The dealer wants $200+ for this. Is it anything special(circuit board/relays/trailer brake modulator?), or is it just the connector and wires? T/ CSeel- witecaphyr4u

I need to remove the stereo!

DSII Gas Mileage ?
