    LR4 on 33's

Well, on my first LR3 I bought the "Stormer" Range Rover Sport SC wheel that was either 20x9 or 9.5, however the tire barely fit next to the upper control arm, though it did just enough. The tire was a Toyo Proxes ST in 285/50-20. It looked great due to being so flush with the wheel...

    LR4 on 33's

Without stating your intended uses and goals, any ideas are purely speculative and likely inappropriate. There are too many directions one can go to have a blanket solution.

    LR4 Shock Longevity

Don't misunderstand me, I LOVE the taller 'look' as well as the sight line from driver seat. I have experimented with many heights, speeds, loads, and the lower you can roll the better with factory 'normal' being the best.

Health of Tata Motors and the future of Land Rover brand.... ?

^ have you ever driven a Mercedes G? They are actually a lot like a much better built Disco 2. Better in every way mechanically, body, frame, and materials but the Disco 2 was my favorite for shape of rear section being so tall. If you can afford/warrant a new D5, then you can more or less...

Changing rear brakes now - some questions

Yeah I love the color o the one in this thread and with grey paint I actually prefer silver or aluminum accent trim and wheels. Our Audi S4 avant is Dolphin Grey and the silver and gunmetal silver wheel sets look perfect, even 11 years on now from new.

:( want, want, want no space/height for that in ours

    Rotor wear advice

Yes, and while it's less prevalent in heavy land rover crowds, the idea of paying $$$ for "light" multi-piece rotors is mostly goofy. A racing friend explained to me once that what he wants mostly in a rotor is mass, lots of metal to dissipate and take up heat over and over. And that a light...

Health of Tata Motors and the future of Land Rover brand.... ?

Who else has been around through Ford buying JLR then Tata? It seemed like Tata was going to turn it around, which they certainly did in terms of brand image and sales but the company is looking weak and the cancellation of the SVX Disco 5 suggests things are worse than we can see. I wonder...

    Rotor wear advice

FYI, your typo makes it hard to know what was actually said to you.... When you have a little left, and will just do new rotors too anyway, you can go a little longer if it's close and you're the type to be easy on the brakes. Mine last sooooo long because I do not speed ahead to red lights...

    LR4 on 33's

literally LOL. 33.4" diameter, 10" tread, 12" section, NINE inch wheel and wider offset. Such a shop, willing to do this with these parts, is simply taking your $ or they'd have advised against the selections. GLTY

Planning on swapping trans pan and fluid change...low profile torx recommendations?

It may be obvious but always test the removed bolt in a die before starting to run a tap into such an important part. And also, test on the die only after a thread gauge pretty much tells you which one to test ;)

    LR4 Shock Longevity

31.5" 265/65-18 does not need you to do that. There is zero purpose for you to run around at +2 all the time. Having the gap tool ,just use it for more off road when on a trail. No chance being lifted all the time somehow helps the struts. Quite the opposite, they are going to be best at...

    range rover p38 tune-up.

Hey, check out post above this one. Is this new 2 post "member" actually spam? The post in other tire thread make no sense whatsoever. I think it's a 'bot' Ok so i guess it's actually more of a language thing ;) No offense meant

    What is hanging?

oh well of course. but i also recommend always more "due diligence" than simply relying on forum folks. there are opinions, misinformation, and new developments in technology so you gotta be proactive IMO. i find it silly when people ask a forum for what is a clear dealership question before...

    What is hanging?

Actually I wouldn't think the frame itself is any heavier than normal but the design of this thing being pretty much a unibody on top of a ladder frame is why it's so heavy. Most vehicles have one or the other, I am not aware of any other hybrid like this.

    What is hanging?

I have never discussed the thickness of lr3 frame before nor have I proposed what the heck those weights were for. Not sure what you're referring to. Googling is a good added thing to do though to see what else can be added to a forum discussion. I may have participated in a "what the heck...

Is a d5 a great deal right now?

and the literally retarded design of the hatch shape rendering the roofline useless for anything long.

    What is hanging?

One should always "google it" as well because for all I know, the people here are full of schit LOL As in, where the hell did someone get the idea the frame was made lighter and that's the specific reason these were added?

    What is hanging?

google it. i've read it's something to do with body vibration and reducing it. They are peculiar though!

Is a d5 a great deal right now?

Not even a fair comparison because the Aztec had no real competitor for looks in my opinion. The Disco 5 though, it's just a more expensive Ford Explorer. Luckily I have no experience in STD's to offer an opinion on that one...

Is a d5 a great deal right now?

Exactly. I bought a new 07 RR supercharged. You'd think the incredible drive train, vastly more comfortable seats, ergonomics, etc, etc, etc in ways the RRSC is so much better from a driving experience point of view, that I could keep it. No, I loaded it for work and play a few times, poked...

Is a d5 a great deal right now?

Yup, that mercedes does the job very well for a demographic that rover was barely competing with and now how lost ground on in my opinion. The GL 3rd row is way better and it's long flat roof is better for many things. The D5 roofline and rear hatch especially got dumb as shit from a usability...

Xenon D3S Headlamp bulb replacement options

I thought our lr3 lamps were "xenon". Why do you say HID? I'm not aware of any lr3 coming with HID, all the brochures and info say xenon. Are these the same? Also, I have no idea if my lamps were even changed but I have done a lot of road trips at night and at 150,000 miles, i would assume...
