Planning on swapping trans pan and fluid change...low profile torx recommendations?

It may be obvious but always test the removed bolt in a die before starting to run a tap into such an important part. And also, test on the die only after a thread gauge pretty much tells you which one to test

yes for sure I've made that mistake before...but these aluminum anything once marred are pretty much toast and would have to retap with a bigger bolt...

I taped a Torx bit into a 1/4" box wrench LOL - slooooowwww work

ratcheting would have been super awesome

It worked I suppose - 30k miles since, and no leaks

I do not regret going metal
