2012 LR4 150k Mile Maintenance
I’m at 148, I’ve only done plugs (110k) and a purge valve. Alternator went at 147k. As of now I need to do valve covers and upper timing covers. lowering suspension when not in use for weeks on end
Random question, I normally lower the suspension when the LR4 will not be in use for a couple of days so I can put less pressure on the airbags. In this case it'll be more like weeks on end, but should I be lowering it or ill it put more stress on the bushings? Might be thinking too deep about...- Jimmy Brooks

Yup, they literally make the stock arms but Land Rover puts a stamp on it and sells it for much more. Part numbers and everything match up on the Land Rover stamped ones and on the lemforder ones.- Jimmy Brooks

This. You need a gap tool, too many electronics in this car. It’s hard to point you in the right direction if you can’t give a proper description. Lemforder is OE for these cars. All the stock control arms, sway bar links and bushings, and tie rods are made by lemforder. They still make suspension arms for LR to this day- Jimmy Brooks

I hate rust belt.....rear upper arms were a PITA

5.0 supercharged into an LR4?
Love it!!!! I’m at 147k, and my trucks been in the family since new in 2010. My engine is still running great but I figure I’ll put another 20k miles on it and probably get a new daily. Testing air suspension for leaks?
I’ve had arnott struts on the front of my rig since about 90k- 100k. Probably almost for 6 years now, they’ve been great. Rears are original, won’t be replacing them till I hear an air leak like I did with the fronts. My compressor is also arnott, had it since 80k, it’s been great as well...- Jimmy Brooks

Ok just let me know. I would be doing the same but I haven’t done the chains so it’s more likely that a shop will just tell me it is to get money out of me. With your warranty it entitles them to fix it if someone had a similar noise and claimed it was the timing chain which you’ve just had...- Jimmy Brooks

Mystery Headlamp Bulb
had a 2012 5 series with these, my buddy’s old 958 cayenne with the upgraded LEDs had them and same with the new cayenne with the upgraded matrix LEDs.
