    If there is enough room, try tapping the head like you’re hammering it; that can help free stuck screws. +1 for PB blaster too

    This too. It’s also possible someone used a screw with different size torx head so it isn’t catching enough. Pics would help confirm this

    First thing I would try is a flat bit and see if it will grab on two opposing sides of the torx bit. If that didn’t work I would probably try to dremel a straight cut through the head and use a flat bit get it

    True, but there would be coolant on a lot of other stuff, not just the valley. It could also be from the hose that runs through the valley and connects the rear to the throttle body

    Last time I had everything apart I actually got the bleed started by blowing in the tank with bleed caps off to get the air out; actually worked really well. Then ran the heat full blast to circulate and only had to top off just a bit.

    @LB Bill the smell I get sometimes is definitely a cat type smell, I just feel like it’s noticeable since the vents are always in fresh air mode. I’ll smell it too when another euro model car gets on it in front of me

    I have the SCV6 and I can smell mine when I get in it. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about, I’ve always attributed it to the ac vents pulling outside air and not being able to permanently keep recycle mode on.

    I had JLR replace one of mine under the tsb; I was going to do it myself, bought a replacement and everything, but that bad boy was nice and seized on. Figured they could take the risk of causing more damage. They aren’t hard to replace skill wise, but they may be a PITA
