Speakers not working
I guess I do not know much about the amplifier under the passenger seat as to date, on my 3, it is still working. It sounds like this red light is on your amp somewhere or is the light on the dash? At any rate, a hard reset fixes more problems than it creates and costs nothing so good luck. -
Is it possible to upgrade rear camera ?

Regardless, the vehicle has a good looking purposeful silhouette - and LR cannot seem to figure out what to replace the Defender with. They already have the answer, and it works - no development costs for what would be a low volume vehicle, and it still looks current. -
So here is why after owning (4) Land Rovers I don't think I will ever own one again.
I think the bigger question is why does LR continue to have problems everyone else has solved? How do they manage that?- bbyer

Accessory connections and firewall access
I see you are not getting much in the way of replies. I have an LR3 which per below has a fuse box located beside the main starting battery in the engine compartment. I do not know if the LR4 has the same thing but if it does, that may be the answer. My fuse box has a few locations for relays... -

Yes, I change the oil and filter/pan in the transmission every 50 thousand miles and in the transfer case and front and rear differentials, at maybe 80 thousand miles; engine oil and filter at 5,000 miles. So far all are original; rad still OK but new coolant and the plastic thermostat housing... -

Relay replaced? In theory the compressor relay in the engine compartment fuse box, (at least on an LR3), should have been replaced when the new compressor was installed. You might consider replacing the relay anyway given that system has been beat up a bit. -
Are LR4's actually bi-xenon?
The attached jpg shows the movable shield referred to above that moves out of the way when high beam is called for. That then means you have high beam as well as low beam coming from the single Xenon bulb. The bi-xenon shield setup is not a good design for "flash to pass", hence we have the... -

Windshield and Rain Sensor
Use something, maybe a flat blade screwdriver or nail file to pry the plastic halves apart. If your cover is per the jpg, just start at the top where the wires go in. In my case, they almost fell apart when I started; in fact I wondered why they had not seperated going over a bump etc.
