Good point… FYI, there’s only 1 amp for this system. 2010/11, it’s under the passenger seat. 2012+ it’s behind the right rear trim panel. -

Anything from 2012-2016 will work. Oh yeah, and I just remembered to tell you, only the 2010/11 had a separate bluetooth module. 2012+ models have the bluetooth modules in the audio unit. -

I think you're jumping the gun a little. You can unplug the module first and see if it fixes your problem. (Leave the fiber connected as a "through way"). That said, have you pulled the touchscreen or audio unit yet? Honestly, if it was the bluetooth unit, you'd just see the bluetooth... -

Yeah, happened to me. Contact GAP and they send you a flash and then it’ll run a different key fob routine. Go ahead and read your ECU info so you can send it to them, that way they know exactly what they’re getting into. I just usually email it to myself via the app, then send it attached... -

Sounds reasonable enough, probably about time to grab a used audio unit from eBay and swap it out. Although, if you haven’t pulled the units out to check and see if there’s some obvious signs of damage or corrosion, I’d do that first. It might not yield any results, or it may point you to... -

From what you’re describing, it sounds like it’s the touchscreen display that has gone bad. If it were the audio unit, I don’t believe it would be rebooting. You can try the key first, but a used touchscreen is only $100 or so from eBay, so thankfully, not crazy expensive. The good news is... -

Is the screen rebooting? Aka, does the logo reappear? Or is it freezing and resetting in the touchscreen display? Also, what year is your LR4? Cause there’s a BIG difference in what modules are where between 2010/11 and 2012+ LR4s. (It’ll help to narrow the problem down. -

What year is your LR4? There are different power outputs for different year models. (2010/11 had a 650Watt (ish, I can't remember the specific number) system and 2012+ had a 1250watt system). I'm wondering if there's an issue with your amp or your speakers. I know this is a silly question... -

Yeah, sounds like either your audio unit or touchscreen is toast. One of them is causing the other to crash. Thankfully, you don't have to be too mechanically inclined to removed either module. The audio unit requires a little extra work because you sorta start at the top with the touchscreen... -

Yes, I'm guessing that's the 2016 UI, as it doesn't look anything like my 2012 either! LOL! It does also give me the option for a hotspot, but tells me there's no SIM detected. I don't care, my phone works better anyway! Other than that, everything works great! -
