That's my general thoughts...I just can't find anyone who's integrated the 8spd into the "legacy" V8's. The first problem alone would be resetting the VIN in the TCM so the truck will let you shift...then there's the whole compatibility issue. But it would be nice.... -

I would argue, given the number of "parts only" cars on marketplace/ebay, you could pick up a set of 3.54 axles pretty cheaply. And yes, the 3.73 would make a big difference....although, depending on how the math works out, you may lose some top end speed given the differences in the gear... -

Yes, Denso only made the NA V8 and early SCV8 ECU’s. So, pretty much from 2014 forward it’s all Bosch for the LR4. (2013 for the RRS as they got the SCV6 in 2013) -

Loosing a little bit of coolant
Listen to the guys on here about finding the leaks. Crossover leaks (especially rear ones) can be extremely hard to "see" as they're hidden underneath everything and coolant doesn't always make its way out. Always. trust your nose, if you smell coolant, you have a leak somewhere. Just a... -

I tried the key fob, it was a no go. That said, I just replaced mine, and I’m sure there’s some sort of functionality I’ll have to program/add to them. I’m going to try the Gap tool next and see if I can get it to work. -
