I believe it will do this self-leveling every two hours; this is the reason when you're trying to diagnose air-leak issues that you remove the RLM (Ride Level Module) fuses so that the RLM ECU is removed from that equation. -

It will give you many codes that the IIDTool will so it's definitely a good starting point; in the aforementioned post I provided some of the graphs that the tool can provide; so opening and closing of valves. For $49 that pretty darn good and at least gets you in the OBD game! Keep us posted... -

That battery warning I believe is normal, I've seen it before when I'm in the car; have the radio playing and the engine's not running. The car will do a lot to stop auxiliary systems from draining the battery. I'd take the advice already provided and try to add axillary power to the battery... -
