I think it's for sound also... Damn mice! I caught a few on video while I was doing my timing chains. I left the trunk open to store parts (no battery so had to stay open) and they were sitting on the rear window! Need to leave the cats in the barn for a few days! -

I don't think it's a fuse issue; otherwise stuff just wouldn't work. My advice is to get in there and have a look at the unit, does it look clean? Don't overlook the eBay option as it's really not that difficult to replace once you're in there. I'm sorry this is stressful. Just take your time. -

Indeed, lesson learned (and luckily without too much pain in this case!). Also, shiny new cooling pipes, crossovers and new starter motor (along with oil and coolant)! Next up is alignment as I know it's way off (on the front) and tires... I will start searching alignment shortly as I know it... -

I have the ZF document if you need it (PM me with your email address and I'll send it over), I just went through a transmission oil change and also the filling procedure. Note that when you do the refill it's really important to use the ZF fluid. A leak around the middle V of the engine points... -

LR4 winter tires - 2025 edition
Remember my last comment - horses for courses, tires are very much the same, given your location and snow I'd be going for winter tires; cross climate have a great reputation but if you live in a snow belt it's best to have winter tires. Dedicated winter tires make a huge difference. -
