    It has been a bit since I've done this. I cut one of O2 sensor wire hangers back. Removed the transmission cross member. Removed the passenger side cat. Removed driver's side cat. I did this on my back in the driveway.

    The fuel injectors are noisy and it is there to cut down on NVH. I run no injector covers, no main cover*, and no hood insulation. *On some vehicles (Audi?) that foam engine cover prevents the paint on the hood from overheating.

    I have not had the problem. If you're doing it yourself the torque spec is a good bit lower than you'd expect.

    Find someone with a 3d scanner and get a sheet of plywood cut to fit. Put some neoprene rubber on the backside and an array of T-nuts for anchor points.

    Local dealer told me that the clips come with the whole window. I'll be calling a couple of junkyards on Monday. $300 for two plastic clips is nuts.

    Anyone know the part number for this plastic clip? One of the bolts rattled loose and the remaining clip broke from the strain.

    I used one when I put my reman engine in. Can't tell you how many degrees it runs cooler or how much quicker the oil temp drops after a big hill.

    FYI, if you remove the oil cooler during any service the cooler from the scV8 fits. It has a few more layers to the heat exchanger, whether it is worth it is debatable.

    How was the quality of the Davico? I bought one for my old Volvo and had to go over the welds with my stick welder. I chose factory when my LR4 needed a new cat because I didn't want to be messing around with a poorly fitting unit on my back in the driveway.

    You may want to consider changing out the idlers and tensioners while you are right there. The slippery slope of the parts cannon can add up fast. In my mind, new belts equals new idlers and tensioners.
