    Well, being marketed at least!

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

The second pic you have shows the "Y" pipe having more of a bend to it, almost ending up perpendicular instead of parallel.

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Gotcha, that probably has something to do with it, I'm seeing around 27-27.5 psi with just the lower pulley here. 12 psi ambient instead of 14.7.

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Question for those of you living at sea level and have done the pulley -- have any of you logged "boost pressure absolute - raw value" with the IID tool to see where it falls in the 3500-5000 range? I'm curious how much the tune + pulley makes up for me living at elevation.

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

Interesting idea, but I'm trying to visualize how would you mount that to the block? With either the factory piece or this piece you have three bolts holding the structure down, so it stays flat. With only one bolt per side I'd wonder if one side of each connection would tend to lift, breaking...

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

Looks like on their website, they have two versions, I guess the thermostat outlet hose has a revision at some point? https://euro-amp.com/products/jaguar-land-rover-cooling-system-upgrade-kit-3-0l-v6-5-0-v8-supercharged-engine...

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

Was bored browsing the jaguar forum (same engine, after all) and came across this recent thread announcing aluminum crossover pipes. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/aluminum-cooling-pipes-finally-258775/ I've never heard of the vendor, but interesting nonetheless... it does...

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Thanks. Installed the lower pulley and stage 2 tune today. Took it for a bit of a spin just around town, definitely makes up for a bit of the torque loss going to the V6. Although, since I’m at 5200 feet, I guess this is what stock feels like at sea level. Unfortunately it’s rush hour so not...

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Hey, question for you guys who have done this (like @Fuji4 @16FujiDisco). In terms of being able to go back to stock, does your VFlash device show the original file as an option? I loaded up the files from VAP, but it looks like only the Stage I and II files are present. I know CO is going to...

    Lessons Learned Rebuilding 5.0 V8 2012 LR4 Engine

And there's the rub. The obvious answer for anything is to throw an LSX in there -- cheap, big torque, relatively decent fuel economy for what it is, parts are available at any autozone, etc. Problem is getting anything to talk to the terrain control and gauges.

    Lower control arm replacements

I know some places quote different times for warranty work and regular work. Could this be the warranty company claiming the warranty time allocated, while the dealership is using traditional book time, since it isn't the factory warranty ?

    bragging !

Question — did the brake light switch cause any real issues beyond just not triggering the brake lights? (IE would you keep one as a spare while traveling the way LR3 folks often do)

    Hitch storage

Thanks for the link. Holy ****, though, $200 for a piece of styrofoam! Should’ve swiped it from my old one before sellin it!

    Hitch storage

I could have sworn there was a little molded place to store the plug-in hitch on the left side of the car with a little strap to hold it. But I don’t seem to have it on my 2016. Am I mistaken, or was this decontented or swiped by previous owner?

    2012 LR4 H/K subwoofer > No longer working

Interesting -- at one time, JL Audio made a stealthbox that fit the left rear panel specifically for the LR4. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-lPf5B7gAgHN/p_13694600/JL-Audio-Stealthbox.html

I'm pretty sure the axle shafts are different too, between HD and non-HD.

Is HD package so useful in snow?

Also, speaking generally to OP's point -- I live in CO and had a 2012 without HD and a 2016 with HD. Haven't gotten stuck yet in either, although I am running blizzaks in Winter. Watching the 4x4 display, an aggressive standing start will lock the center, and flooring it will also see the rear...

Is HD package so useful in snow?

2010-2013 all trucks have a transfer case with the multi-plate clutch for locking. 2014+, if you don't have the HD package, there's a torsen in the transfer case.

    Onboard Spare parts when off-roading/overlanding

Is that - the brake switch - as significant/common a failure in the LR4 vs the LR3 ?
