"State of Charge" from IID tool
2016 LR4 here. Shouldn't some of these measuring blocks be available? I’m particular, I could have sworn estimates state of charge was available in my 2012. -

Date code on LR batteries?
Was trying to figure out when my battery was last replaced. Am I missing something or is there just no mfg date present? Or maybe on the side so I need to pull it out to look? Got the vehicle 6 months ago and PO had everything done at the dealer, so it could be original (6 years?!) … or not. -

Just checked out LR Centre, and kind of amazed that going from non-adaptive to adaptive is three times as much ( £438 to £1,464), all for adding a little servo motor to steer the lights. -

I'd love to see if this works on the Bosch units. I'm also quite surprised there are that many options on the LR4. There's 2 or 3 CarPlay retrofits, then 4 or 5 different android replacements? All this for a model that sold, maybe 50,000 units over its entire lifespan in the US and probably a... -

Battery charging issues and a fix??
Maybe a bit of a tangent, but how accurate do we think the IID tool voltage readout is? I’ve noticed that when getting in the car in the morning with the IID attached, I’ll see 11.5-11.7 volts (which would be a significantly discharged battery). But headlights are bright and it cranks quickly. -

So, this is interesting. The website for NT Audio (the maker of the tablet-style used by PowerfulUK) states that for the 2010-2011 version, touch is not supported for the factory functions. That disclaimer isn't on the version for 2012-16... -

Adding Adaptive Cruise to LR4
I talked to GAP about this. Looks like it only works on 2015 and 2016. Not all of the 2014s have the harness and supposedly the code for the adaptive cruise isn't in the ECU. Sounds weird to me, since the ECU has the same part number as the later ones, but they're the experts. They also said... -
