    Hot AC when in Reverse

Just spitballing here, but thinking this could be the fan relay or the wiring to the fan clutch ?

Toll-road RDIF sticker on LR4 windshield

    Removing rear seats?

I'm actually super-curious to hear more about this. What's your remote work setup? Any pics? Starlink ?

    Nickname for LR4?

Yes but they in turn are also always pushing us to name our cars.

    Suspension dropped while in traffic

Are you sure it dropped then raised back up? It may have been the front dropping (points down) then the rear dropping in succession (making you level again). I've had 2 LR4s and they both do that once in a while when stopped at a long light. I believe that, as long as you're not in tight...

    Alternative sound system

LOL - Didn't know they came in that size. When I saw "bluetooth speaker" I was expecting to see the water-bottle size JBL Flip!

    LR4 Owner Considering Disco 2

I will have to check that out -- I heard they were stuffing the N63 (from bmw / the L460) into the Defender sometime in 2024 (as a MY25), but didn't realize they were using the 130 body. Dunno -- the turbo would probably be better than supercharger since I live at altitude, but as with the 5L...

    LR4 Owner Considering Disco 2

I kinda want to drive a 5L defender.

    LR4 Owner Considering Disco 2

One of the guys at an LR shop here in Denver swapped the BMW I6 (N52? N53?) into his D2. Pretty cool ride.

    LR4 Owner Considering Disco 2

Always loved the way these look. But if potential reliability concerns about your LR4 are making you neurotic, no way I'd touch a D2.

2013 AC not cold - Refrigerant pressure good - Not intermittant

Cosign on checking evap temperature. On mine, I've seen the front get down to -2 C just driving around with the AC on. Per the service guide, with AC on, temp at minimum, fan at max, recirc off, 1500 rpm for 5 minutes, center vent temp should be between -2C and -7C. You know, the newest LR4s...

    Thank you.

    Removing D Pillar Trim

Quick question and surprised I didn't find it in search. Can I remove the upper D pillar trim (that houses the speaker) without removing the lower back cargo area trim? I pulled it off at the top easily enough but it doesn't seem to lift up/out. Just wanted to check before I break some little...

What kind of leak is this?

There are some decent posts if you search.... 3 bleed points on the v8 (heater pipe by battery box, crossover, reservoir). The V6SC has a fourth point, front driver's side leaving the intercooler radiator.

    Dual engine air intake channels

I've been playing around with logging ambient vs IAT vs supercharger temps. I can post some data once I have a chance to go through it, but my initial impression is that (at city speeds) the intake charge is picking up a surprising amount of heat by the time it gets to the MAF. This is largely...

What kind of leak is this?

You can remove the hose at the clamp but when you refill the cooling system, you'll need to bleed from there unless you have a vacuum filler. Your screw may be fine or it may be trashed. Hard to know until you try to remove.

What kind of leak is this?

Similar issue with mine -- there's a bmw one that fits -- part 17111712788 and might not hurt to have on hand before he starts. There's also some brass versions of the same part that should be more reliable. I think the little o-ring at the top is what does the real sealing and those will fall...

Coolant line - I think that's the one at the passenger rear of the engine bay?
