    yep, start with the low hanging fruit, remove door card and check all the electrical connections are tight. Check that there is no visible damage to any of the existing wiring etc. Pm me and I’ll get the circuit diagrams to you Stu.

    All I did was change the battery after the boil wash. It was with an original Lr key fob though. Not sure how a 20buck aftermarket one would fair. Either way I was poleaxed by it working.

    Nope, they stop a certain amount of noise, also to stop chafing somewhat as well. Also to make things snug and more of a pain in the ass than they need to be. I managed to get the job done with them in place, it was a bit fiddly though.

    No help to the original poster, but one of my keys went through the washing machine on hot and works like a charm albeit a lot cleaner. Just thought I’d share. These things are quite robust.

    I found it much easier to use a set of these You’ll curse that the lower bolts have to come out a couple of degrees at a time. But it was easier than using extension bars and u joints for me.

    Heat soak would be my big concern here as well, it would be interesting to see the difference between the capacity of the radiator/heat exchanger for the supercharger on these v6’s to the v8’s in the Range Rover and which pump they used. But as you say, keep away from the diminishing returns...

    If you are not 100% sure of how much oil was added during the last oil change be very careful removing any. As mentioned on some other recent post, the gauge can be calibrated, if this calibration is incorrect then you really don’t know how much oil is in the sump. +1 for the dipstick restomod

    Do you use the heater much? If it’s not used regularly you will get a buildup of dust etc that essentially cooks off when it gets hot. The heater performance is dependent on engine temp. Does the jag come up to temp faster than the Rover? I had an old Ford for my first car, that thing smelled...

    Just changed my rear crossover, heater manifold, and it was in as new condition after 67k miles on a 2015 scv6. The front however was a different story, my knuckles definitely jumped on a grenade for the engine :)

    Not so fast. Screw this guy all the way in and try closing the hood (there’s one on each side) There’s about 1” of adjustment in the hood stop to eliminate chatter when driving. If it closes properly then screw the stop out until it just is at the point of not latching then screw the stop back...

    im in a 2015. But they indicated they could get them to work on the older units. That was actually a good part of the purchasing process. They really drilled down on if it was a capacitive screen or resistive as they are different units and the electrical connections slightly different.
