That had to have been a manufacturing defect. Really hard to rationalize that failure even from a cheap after market vendor. OEM or not at all. -

That little plastic piece is available in 2 ways that I know of. 1. In plastic from Rover, but you need to purchase that entire assembly, you cannot just purchase the plastic bit 2. In brass, there is another string on this website discussing. Not sure where to actually get one. -

I change out to new wipers on my daughters LR4 - because it's not local to me - once a year. The other two LR4's get new wipers at every 2 years, or whenever I remember, and I re-use the ones from my daughters truck that are only a year old. -
