Lug nut quality?
A 7/8" socket works well with the OEM lug nuts. It is tight enough, not to damage the OEM lug nut. The solid lug nuts are a joy to remove and install.- Rover Range

Yes. Just the cosmetic cap that is loose. Rest of the lug nut will be fine.- Rover Range

The metal caps are loose. Most likely from using the incorrect lug socket. They do break off at the shoulder where the washer is.- Rover Range

I don't see having different offsets, just for a color change. But, I could be wrong. The dummy spare has a 37 offset.- Rover Range

You will need a new fitting. Don't take apart the new fitting and make sure the tubing is inserted all the way in.- Rover Range

2014 LR4 HSE LUX Thermostat issue
The wires go to a heater element in the t-stat housing. The heater heats up a wax pellet which closes the t-stat to make the engine run "hotter" under certain conditions. So, with the wires not connected the t-stat would operate normally. I haven't tested both options. So I can't say 100% you...- Rover Range

That's the wrong thermostat. The wires are for the electronically controlled thermostat. There's an internal heater to control the thermostat. To answer your question. You should be ok with the one you installed.- Rover Range
