What do you think, new bushings needed?

On their own, they most likely won't.

What do you think, new bushings needed?

I've already switched to poly for my LCAs (so far they've been flawless, but it's only been 40K miles), didn't want to overdo it with the sway bar as well, for fear of making the ride too stiff. I can definitely feel the ones in the LCAs - things got a bit firmer over bumps or road imperfections...

What do you think, new bushings needed?

Lol. My front sway bar bushings have seen better days... They weren't even that noisy, considering how destroyed they are. This was my second set, lasted me about 90K miles.I am still on the original bushings in the rear (132K miles currently.)

    Found an LR4, a couple pre-purchase questions...

If you have the VIN, you can look it up on www.landrovertechinfo.com and see exactly what options / packages were included at the factory on that HSE Lux (Vision Assist, HD, Sat Radio, etc.) There were different styles of 19" LR3 wheels, but as far as I know they should all fit the LR4. If the...

    Brake pads already worn?

Yes, here in SoCal (about 50% stop-n-go traffic, 50% highway/freeway) I find the brake pads last me no more than 20-25K miles on average, and the rears seem to wear out marginally faster than the front ones - probably because they are considerably smaller. Rotors normally outlive 1 set of pads -...

Land Rover doesn't even sell the bearings on their own, just the assembled hub.

TPMS sensor needs to paired? 2010 LR4

In theory, yes. There is such an option in one of the menus. It's never worked for me, though (2013). I still get the spare tire fault message on startup, thankfully it goes away after about 10-15 seconds or so. No big deal. If the option works for you, let me know.

    LR5 Release Updates?

Only the HSE Luxury trim includes the air suspensions as standard equipment here in the US. The set of options for NAS MY17s is a bit weird. For instance, despite the gazillion different interior / exterior / engine options and unless I am missing something, I don't see a way to add a locking...

    LR4 Favorite Year?

Yeah, that was a common complaint with the Gen 2.1 MOST infotainment system introduced on MY2012, which was addressed - up to a point - on 2013s with a faster processor. Mine still lags quite a bit, especially noticeable when scrolling through a playlist in audio/iPod mode or trying to type a...

    Velar

Only 500 First Editions are US-bound. They will probably be sold before they are even unloaded from the vessel bringing them over... I doubt there will be many leased ones among those. ;) The 2006 RRS Supercharged First Edition in Vesuvius Orange went for tens of thousands above sticker when...

    Velar

The F-Pace and Range Rover Velar are thinly disguised siblings, built on the same platform and sporting similar dimensions, performance and features. The Velar seems to offer more tech and luxury than the Jaguar, but it costs more as well. Plus, it'll be several months before it's available. The...

    LR4 Favorite Year?

On V8 powered 2010-13s the HD option won't be that easy to find (whether you pick Lux or non Lux should make little difference as the Heavy Duty pack was a self standing option on every trim), I had to special order mine from the UK in late 2012 because my dealer couldn't find a single one...

    LR4 Favorite Year?

Compared to my old 2006 Range Rover Sport with the 4.4L V8 (same V8 as in the LR3), the 5.0L of my 2013 LR4 actually gets marginally better gas mileage, despite the greater displacement. It could be that I used to punch it more with the Sport, but overall I think mileage will be pretty much the...

    Velar?

It has a 16.5 gallon fuel tank. Even assuming greatly increased mileage from the diesel and smaller gas engines offered on the Velar, that's almost embarrassingly small. Even overlanding in the city might be a challenge, lol. I guess compromises had to be made to fit all that luxury and...

    LR4 Interior LED Lights

The only bulbs that will give you grief are the front door ones (hopefully this CANBUS compatible set takes care of that), you don't need special ones anywhere else.

    Stock Wheels: Keep or Sell?

I kept mine, 19" in mint conditions from my Black Pack. I will put them back on when I sell the car, and either re-use the Compos on my next Land Rovet (if they fit, fingers crossed...) or sell them used to another owner. Not much demand for 19" stockers out there, even the fancy black ones...

Tires for the 19" wheels - Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure DONE!!!

Yup, Europe only. There is no such thing as a General Grabber AT3 line here in the US - yet. Whenever you see "tyre" spelled with a y, it's not for us.

    Velar?

BMW is bordering on ridiculous, but hey, what do I know. I have already seen camo shots of the X2, a coupe version of the X1 which will look like a mini-me X4. And the X8, a coupe version of the X7 that doesn't even exist yet, is a strong possibility in the near future.

    Velar?

They all are doing it. BMW has so many X's, I can't tell the difference anymore between an X4 and X6, an X1 and X3, an X3 and X5. I lost track of how many GL-something Mercedes churns out these days, they all look pretty much the same to me as well, except the real deal (the G.) Everyone needs...

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

If you decide to replace them, get Gorilla lug nuts on eBay, they are solidly built, relatively inexpensive and far superior, in my opinion, to the stock "aluminum capped" lugs that come with our cars. I've had black powder coated Gorilla lug nuts for over 3 years and they still look great, no...

    Source for TPMS sensors...Black Compos on a 2016 LR4

The DIY method is to swap spare and one of your driving wheels, and drive around for a few miles. The spare wheel sensor will be registered in the TPMS module, and then you can swap wheels back. The faster and more expensive alternative is to visit a dealer to have the sensor's S/N registered...

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

They definitely used to offer them in silver (by special order) back when I ordered mine 4 years ago, have you contacted them directly to find out if they still do? There are at least a couple of photos of LR3/4s fitted with them at their web site...
