    Clarification on 275/65/18 LR4 fitment (I've searched)

I ran 265/70 with nothing more than proud rhino rods on our 2007 LR3. On the 06 with coil overs I didn't have to make any changes until I hit 33x12.50r18 On it I had run 275/65, 265/70 and 285/65 (this had light rubbing on the wheel well liner under full lock)

    Parts from older models

Pretty sure D2 rims won’t bolt on properly due to the center bore being to small. You would need a spacer that goes from hub centric to lug centric.

The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread

3 LR3 and a 110. In my defense, I have spent more on tires than I did on that LR3

I picked up another 06 LR3 HSE. Solid rust free southern truck.

    LR3 starter: DIY replacement completed

It was my first LR3 starter as well the electrical connection was the source of difficulty just had to use some patience, which is not my greatest virtue. At least your starter gave you a heads up mine just outright died.

I think the 12.5" wide makes a noticable difference in traction and stability.

Red Clay Rally, The Rovers are Coming

No worries, I didn't think my truck was ready but it did fantastic. The LR3/4 are formidable off road, they can take what we dish out

Keep plugging away. You will never be fully ready, but when you’re sorta comfortable with the idea give it a go.

Rear control arm causing stiff steering?

I would check your lower steering shaft. It can cause a tight or binding feel.

Spacers. Yes or No? If yes, then how?

Don't know on that to be honest

Spacers. Yes or No? If yes, then how?

I cannot really comment as I have only driven that truck extremely briefly around camp. It definitely had more power on 35’s than I do in my LR3 on 33’s. It pulled away from me on the highway, like I was tied to something lol. Gears are really needed for 33 and greater on the LR3 in my mind...

Spacers. Yes or No? If yes, then how?

The LK8 LR4 is on EAS. Retained full travel and steering as well. Complete beast off road from what I saw at Red Clay as well.

Never heard that about steel wheels. Mount ride and balance fine.

Red Clay Rally, The Rovers are Coming

I didn't feel the narrower tire was giving enough foot print for the LR3 so I decided to give wider a try. I can stuff the tire fully with minor trimming. Spring spacers on the OME HD springs can be done but I feel reliability of the CVs would be questionable when you are driving 1500 highway...
