YES! The LR3 has more of a "plastic" feeling and the noises associated to it than the LR4. I couldnt believe how much quieter the LR4 is compared to my old LR3, and I had very few miles on it. -

Sat Radio Problem
I had a similar problem with my 2008 LR3 when I bought it and had to activate the service. Service guy disconected the battery and voila! Simple enough, but you will think your service dept. tried that already.- horacioad

LR3 Body Panels & Exhaust?
The hood is 100% aluminum as the tailgate. So if you get an dent you wont be able to repair it the traditional way, drill hole and pull, since it will rip the material. A new hood is about $1600 new and good luck finding a used one in good shape. I just had my hood replaced after hitting Bambi... -

Dead LR4
I do like the push start on the LR4 but something has to be said about the previous models rechargable key fobs. Besides, I went swiming with the key in my pocket, ok I fell off the pier, and it is true, the damn thing is water sealed good. Cant imagine that the new one will be ar "hardy".
