    highway ride - help

Is there any sort of fluid around the lower shock mount? I'd hate to see you throw money at an issue without knowing the exact problems. Yellow faults are hard to track sometimes.

    Rod-Mod Wear and Tear Update?

LMAO! Hadn't even occurred to me to try. Stock rods...pffftttt.

    Rod-Mod Wear and Tear Update?

I've been running the rods full-time for nearly 2-1/2" years covering approx 35k miles. Yes, all the usual faults have popped up one time or another. Bad sensors, faulty harness, corroded wires, poor Dealer repairs - NONE related to a rod mod of any kind. When I had warranty work performed, I...

    which rod?

In stock form, your sensors are already calibrated to each other at the factory. It assures signal parameters are within spec. The signal is rated in mV or mA - I'm not sure myself?? Disco3.co.uk can answer that one for you. The connecting rod's orientation determines the output (think dimmer...

    which rod?

Not coincidence Jeff. The rears will also need the mod. 1mm or 2mm difference is fine between the fronts and rears as far as tripping faults go. Trimming 10mm off the fronts only will obviously cause a fault with such different output signals being received by the ECU. Best case scenario is to...

    highway ride - help

The air bag assembly houses an integral shock as well as the bumpstop. None of these are serviceable separately. Could be alignment, tire pressure or Inertia/YAW sensor. Let Dealer diagnose since you're still on Warranty.

    Height Sensor part?

That's the bummer part about not knowing which sensor may be out. The wiring clip to the connector is a BEAR to unclip without damaging the retaining clips. I have zip ties right now holding them to the sensor. Screw it...just busted 'em off with a screwdriver. I started with the fronts and got...

    2010 LR4 - GoodYear MTR's?

Lot's of great reviews. Europe only spec to my knowledge.

    Height Sensor part?

Sounds like a LR Tech question. I would assume that both the sensor and ECU would have to be linked together to determine a communication error or signal fault. Plugging in a sensor only may not be enough. I'm trying to justify the purchase of the BBS FCR unit to avoid this issue.

    Height Sensor part?

I'd just get the arm for now. All four to swap out is about all you can do without the reader. That's why I have 4! Be sure to have the right Torx bits on hand if you do need to swap a sensor. I think it's T20 or T25. Been a while...

    Height Sensor part?

LOL Wes! Imagine this thread?? The 3C190A/B are different sensors. The white arm units are for the US spec Drivers side and the black arm units are for the Passenger side. There are different units for the fronts and backs - these are not interchangeable. I carry all four as spares. Without a...

    Problems With the LR3

A known problem with a software update. Transmission related. See Dealer for download. I don't think it completely eliminates the bang, but it sure softens the blow. The rig just dislikes Hollywood stops.

    which rod?

Thanks for the kind words Chesapeake! I lurk on TONS of different forums. I don't push my rods on EVERY site I view like some people. I stay focused on the Left Coast and let Lucky8 poke around for me on the Right. It's nice to be anonymous sometimes so I can just enjoy the forum and sit back...

    which rod?

Ok...cat's out of the bag here. Sasquatch is in the house. I think this is a great discussion to cover a couple of angles. ToddCo vs. Sasquatch Both are adjustable. Both work exceptionally well. Similar design. Difference approach. Let's take a ride on the Wayyy Back Machine. In late '06, a...

    Avoid the 2010 LR4!

There are always two paths along a fork in the road - be polite, patient and understanding with a Dealer or kick and scream as an irate customer. Hmmm. Which one do you think a Dealer will respond better to???? It kills me that people feel "entitled" to perfection when it comes to a LR purchase...

    Stuck in the Mud

Now that I can see the pictures, Sand Low2 DSC off would have been your only choice. Not that it matters - street tires. Just a word of caution, liberally and I mean liberally spray WD-40 on EVERY possible electrical connector underneath the LR3 before heading into slop. I coat the entire...

    Stuck in the Mud

Too vague a post with too many variables. What kind of tires? Uphill or downhill? Flat mud pit? Clay or muck? Basically, it comes down to wheel spin. If you have mud tires, Sand Mode with DSC off. Hill descents require GGS with TC on DSC on.

The RS is available without nerfs. This is the most streamlined look you can get with complete protection. The uninitiated will not even know you have sliders. It is CLEAN looking.
