    Don't jump to conclusions. Check it out fully. It's also possible that the intermediate steering shaft needs replacement. If you feel the "clunk" in the steering wheel, it's most likely this.

    The 33" tires that were used on his rig is the Nitto Mud Grappler's. They are 33" x 12.50" x 18". I believe the 12.50" translates closely to a 305 tire width. That's the main reason he had to address the offset so tire rub doesn't happen. The 275/70/18 is narrower and should fit??? Clearance...

    The compressor will not run any longer than normal. Once it achieves the required air pressure, it shuts off. New psi will be in the 170 range - compared to the 150 stock range. Burst pressure is 760 psi, so we are well within safe operating pressures.
