Looking at an 06 LR3, help needed
To undo the lock, just hold the switch back toward the console for 30 seconds, it will unlock then allow to raise. I wouldn't worry much about the rust, it's probably just surface rust. Just sand/paint... -

front plate bracket
Drilling to put on a front plate bracket, is there any wiring I should worry about hitting? I have front fogs and the front parking sensors. Thanks! -

On mine, with the old set of tires (which rarely got rotated) side to side wear was the same, it was front to back that differed. -

You get a feel for the doors, I find them very easy to close, and as long as you don't slam them, or touch the paint, it should be just fine. :D -

I had to leave for work. But next snow (here in WI I think we might get more :D) I'm going to go play. I've driven in snow plenty of times, lived in Chicago for all but the last 12 years, and taking annual trips to CO, and back to Chicago. :D -

Just get the part # that fits length wise. Real easy to replace, look on each end, there is a metal band, pop that loose and it will come off the ball it's on. -

I think it's probably coil springs, and yes new coils and new shocks will fix the issue. -

Trailer Hauling Questions
I towed the same trailer, total weight was around 2.5-3k 1500 miles. You'll be fine, the 4 pin connecter is what you'll use. Use a 2" rise in the hitch, worked great for me. Expect to get 13-14 MPG. -

My Terra Grapplers on both my vehicles are dead silent almost. Not any louder than a street tire, IMO. -
