    Spare tire question

As long as it is the same overall diameter (and not a Michelin) (most use a 185/something/19 spare), it should be fine.

    Question for '07 Owners

I didn't do ANY research on mine, just went out for a Sunday drive in the Durango, and came back in the LR3.

    Question for '07 Owners

Nada, just wish the PO left the key to the hitch.

GY DuraTrac or Toyo Open Country A/T

Dura Tracs, but I wouldn't knock either.

First Jeep copies LR and now Ford too.

I had a 99 WJ too, Laredo, it was basic (cloth), 4.0 and Selec Trac, but sure loved it...

First Jeep copies LR and now Ford too.

Land Rover never would've happened if Jeep (and Ford help with the design of the original Jeep, along with Bantam) hadn't been made. But Jeep could've done way better for sure on the new GC. Too car like.

    Same compressor in Range Rover?

Willing to bet the fault was caused by the cracked dryer, as mine had the same issue. Would it be possible to compare them side by side, like at the dealer? Can't imagine they'd differ much.

    Same compressor in Range Rover?

How was the RR compressor packaged up? Did it look like shipping was hell on it?

    Rear Locker

They're about the same capability wise, just the locker one might get the job done a bit easier, but they'll be very close. If you have a full size alloy spare rim/tire, then you have it.

    Hood wind deflector

Not much of a fan. One more thing to age. And it makes you're paint fade odd.

    06 SE with 107k

Probably just plan on doing some oil changes in everything...and just keep a grand or so laying around for air suspension repairs. But, if you're somewhat DIY savvy, I wouldn't loose sleep over it. Definitely go for it if it has the rear locker. What type of dealer are you buying it from? Any...

    Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation?

I got one from Pep boys for like $100....it rusted a bit in the first use, nothing a can of bedliner can't fix though. Worked well on a 1200 mile trip. Definitely use ratchet straps though. Helped on the way home. Tail gate worked fine with it. Could snap a few more pics if wanted...

    Problems With the LR3

Wish my dealer gave me loaners...but I didn't buy it there so...I'm not entitled to one. Anyway, my dealer is pretty decent as well, pretty quick with getting 'er done. Never have had to leave it over night (and it's been there for about 15-20 issues in 7 months, no exaggeration)....have to...

    Should I Change Vehicles?

Actually I have an 07 LR3 (but an LR4 is on my list....love them) and it actually does spend about 1 day in the shop a month (or maybe every 5-6 weeks minimum). I do think that most people don't have that, maybe mine is a "problem one"...not by much. Mass production for ya though, could've been...

    Problems With the LR3

Agree with Ryan....but bad "quality" usually does lead to "reliability issues" But...Land Rovers have nothing on GM for cheap quality....if you've owned an 02 Bravada, you know what I'm talking about.

    Should I Change Vehicles?

Keep an eye out for a good used one, since you have time. BTW...if you care about MPG, or not having it in the shop for at least one day a month....keep the Mazda. But, I love mine, and don't care about MPG or shop time...worth it in every way! You know you want to....haha.

    Redneck beach pics

I had it sand mode so I didn't end up stuck, standing on the roof with the bumper... But the way I came in, a car won't have made it, took the scenic route in...

    Redneck beach pics

Took the LR through here for fun....Sand mode worked great. Saw a Plymouth Acclaim (about a $200 car, beat to hell) get pulled out, guy ripped the bumper off, standing on the roof holding it. Threw it away. Bunch of Natty Ice and Bud Light cans laying around, plastic lawn chairs in the...

    Who Makes These Rims?????

You better be asking who does so you can hunt him down.... JMO...but it's not my LR3, so do what ever makes you happy!

    Proper Engine oil weight

5W30 is what my manual says. My dealer didn't use synthetic. Welcome as well....you'll love your LR3!

How Many Miles Do You Have On Your Lr3 ???

Anybody replace stock LR4 tires? Suggestions?

I think the Pierrelli Scorpion ATR comes in a 19" size, and the new General Grabber AT (not AT2) comes in a 255/55/19, but that might be Europe only.
