Suspension fault- but no side effects

Also had a parking brake fault come on and a check engine come on simultaneously. Turned it off and back on, those didn't come back.

Suspension fault- but no side effects

Past week or two I've been getting a suspension fault. It doesn't change anything, I can still change heights and it levels just fine. Nothing other than the light. It goes off when you shut down and restart, takes about 20-30mins of driving for it to come on. Did a quick search and thinking...

    New AMK Compressor

Pardon my ignorance on the air compressor brands...is there really a big difference in CFM or capacity/duty cycle on the AMK one vs a factory type replacement? Knock on wood I'm still on my factory one so I have little clue about them...

    Rover Advice

For the OP...if you don't have a shop with the proper diagnostic gear or dealer nearby (my closest dealer is 2+ hours) you might want to either get the IID tool or consider other options. Not saying you'll need to be getting friendly with weekly visits (hopefully yours won't be a problem LR3)...

    Engine Fan

Should be an easy DIY...maybe it's the clutch? I've never heard of the fan going bad really...maybe try a junk yard for a fan. Clutch get new though.

    Rover Advice

Outside of normal oil changes and stuff, I've usually been around 1000 per year. Never has left me stranded. I do a mix of DIY and taking it to an indy LR shop (bring in my own parts usually). If it wasn't for the DIY part I'd say closer to 1500 a year. This year I might be a bit over 1000. 3000...

    Bad Oxygen sensor...bank 2 sensor 2

Check engine light went off on it's own before I could get down to look at it...should I still replace the sensor or try the cleaner stuff and see where that goes? Also, in this pic, this is the passenger side...is the red the downstream and blue the upstream? But right now since the light...

    Bad Oxygen sensor...bank 2 sensor 2

Did some googling and can't get a definite answer as to if it's driver or passenger side. I'm assuming sensor 2 means the rearmost. What is the best brand to get?

    Settings for normal city driving

Yep that's good! Check the manual for how to work the Terrain Response (the 4WD system), it's an amazing system.

    Spark plugs?

Rockauto lists copper ones as OEM. Anyone disagree?

    Spark plugs?

Need to do spark plugs soon...what kind do these take? Also is their a how to somewhere? I've done them on other vehicles just not on this.

    Bad wheel bearing

Did the one for now, but I'll be waiting for the passenger side one lol. I don't think I could've done two in one day...

    EBC brake pads

What are you doing for rotors? I have some Atlantic british ones on the front (not high end ones at all just the standard Textar ones or something) that warped. I have centric ones on my Jeep and they've been great. I can't remember what my rear ones are on the LR3.

Duratracs or Scorpion ATR on R19

Go 18s, and get Nitto Terra Grapplers. I run them (on my Jeep and the LR) and they do great for an all terrain. I've used them in the Rockies, Applachians and down in swamps in FL and they do great for an all terrain. Mud, like any AT, they can get a bit clogged. Just my opinion...Duratracs are...

    EBC brake pads

I have the Greenstuff ones on my Jeep and on the rear of the LR3...I like them a lot. Low dust and noise. Stops good. I'd recommend them over OEM.

    Bad wheel bearing

Did it yesterday...got a Timken bearing/hub for $150 from rockauto. The CV joint nut is a M24x1.5mm in case anyone is reading this. It's a lot easier to just give an autoparts store that size then giving them the LR3 info, since most places don't list anything for Land Rovers. If anyone has any...

    Bad wheel bearing

Does anyone have the spec on the bolt? Should any auto parts place have them?

    Bad wheel bearing

Is it 100% required to replace the axle nut? No dealer within 3 hours and not sure if parts places would have the nut.

    Lr3 sold in parts

Wheel bearing, get a Timken or SKF. Wouldn't trust anything else, Timken is the OE. You can get a Timken for $155 on rockauto.com .

    Bad wheel bearing

It squeaked last summer a bit, brakes are fairly new. Past week or so it's turned into a growling/roaring and there's noticeable play.

    Bad wheel bearing

I think I have a bad wheel bearing...got the roaring/grumbling noise, gets worse when turning left (unloading the drivers side). Checked for play and the drivers side has play. Did I diagnose it right? The reason I ask is because I thought that if it gets louder turning left the passenger side...

    Radio controls on steering wheel

Mine might do this 3 times a year. It always has and hasn't gotten worse. Self soothes quickly.

    Serpentine belt replacement

Thanks for the help on the part list! Quick question. If the squeak I'm getting is more temperature related (if it's above 30 it's quiet) would that point to a belt/tensioner issue as opposed to the water pump?

    Serpentine belt replacement

So just get this straight the parts list would be: 1. Primary belt 2. Secondary Belt 3. Primary tensioner 4. Secondary tensioner 5. Idler Pulley
