Side protection moldings!!!!
It's funny how some are installed low and some are installed about 6 inches or so higher than depicted in the picture above. I wonder where is the best place to put them in order the get the best protection. I'm assumeing they should be installed at the most convex part of the door. -

I would have the dealer or a body shop install those. If you're off even by a couple millimeters it wouldn't look right. I don't have them on my LR4. -

That would be AWESOME if someone posts pics of a break pad change. Someone in the past mentioned that the job is very easy and takes 15 minutes per wheel. Would love to see pics if anyone does it. -

LR4 Lux Limited Edition
The surround grill would look better if it were black. The biggest disappoinment with the metropolis edition is that is has no memory seats and other optiions available in the Lux. I was strongly considering a white metropolis, but the lack of memory seats for that price tag made go for the Lux. -

I think they may be trying to cater to people who want the luxury and exclusivity of a RR with a third row seat. By adding "limited" to the name and making a few esthetic changes, and jacking the price up a few grand they are hoping to attract those people. -

I agree. esp since we paid close to 60k for our vehicles. I use the factory Nav, but I always confirm with my phone. Usually it is accurate where I live. -

If you are not having any issues, you probably wouldn't need it. Mine never gave me issues, but then again I had them for a 3 months brfore I traded it in. -

These ballasts require a large draw of power to fire up. It seems like the passenger side isn't getting enough power. I had no issues when I installed the DDM kit on my 2010 HSE. But the people at DDM strongly recommended I use the harness. I ended up not using it. I think the issue will be... -

Not enough juice. You need the relay harness that connects the ballasts to the battery. You can order that from DDM tuning. -

Had a 2012 loaner last week. I like the user interface a lot as it is more updated and more user friendly. The navigation however is still usnig the same old maps that I have in my 2011. I would not spend the money on an update. If you have an iphone, get the telenav GPS plus app. great nav... -

Hey David, I have not had it for a year not even 6 months. When I got it it had 2 miles on it, but the service reminder kept coming on. I called and they said the "in service date" was march 2011 so the service had to be done before march 2012 for it to be covered by LR. Strange policy they... -

Took my LR4 for the one year service. Had 6500 miles on it, but had to do service based on time not mileage. They replaced pads and callipers based on this LTB due to "squeaking". Seems to have worked. there was 10% wear on my brakes and tires. -

The answer is there is no sync feature. I agree that it is silly. Most vehicles out there have a sync feature. I find myself adjusting both all the time.
