Removing Bushings
Is there any way to remove the panhard rod bushings without using an hydraulic press (which I don't have)? I replaced all of the front tie rod ends and was getting started on the bushings when I realized that you can't hammer these babies out. Thanks for the help. -

Tie rod ends and bushings should arrive tomorrow. Today drove at highway speeds after rotating the tires and there was a big difference. No more Disco death wobble, but the tie rod ends and bushings need to be replaced anyway so I have my fun set up for the weekend. Anyone have a recommeded... -

just rotated the tires front to back and checked the tie rod ends on the rod that is not the drag link and one is completely shot. I already replaced the ends on the drag link. I'll order new bushings and two more tie rod ends and I am going for new tires in a couple of weeks. Thanks... -

Oil Presure
As Joey instructed me, you have to drop the oil pan and clean out the tube and the wire strainer. Also while you're in there, scrape out all of the sludge too. Dirty job but you'll hear the difference immediately. -

Whistling while heat is on.
