    Grrr... shredded sidewall

Good advice Mike, but BFG does not make a mud tire that fits the LR3. What size tire, pressure ect. are you running on your LR3?

    More Tire Advice

The biggest you can go without modifying rods is 285/60 (no rubbing issues) or BFG A/T 265/65 (some rubbing). I would not run 275/65's without modifying the rods.

    Grrr... shredded sidewall

I have never seen a letter load rating applied to the coopers. It just says XL or extra load next to the tire specs.

    Grrr... shredded sidewall

C-Monkey, I understand you wanting somthing with a little more sidewall protection, but do you really want to go out and spend the money for 4 new tires because of one blown sidewall? Just replace your torn Cooper and your off to the races again. My $.02

High Country Off Road Fuel Tank Skid

Sean, That slim piece of plate on mine on the driver's side angles upward. Could it be they welded yours angled downward by accident?

High Country Off Road Fuel Tank Skid

Yep, your right mine does the same as the pic above. But isn't that piece hanging down on yours more torwards the driver's side of the skid?

High Country Off Road Fuel Tank Skid

I have the same skid plate and mine doesn't hang down like that. Again, are you sure they cut that one to fit with the RS sliders?

Someone explain how to use a recovery strap please.

Yes, ladder was an easy install. Spare tire carrier is a Rasta 4x4 product distributed by Brithish Pacific.

I don't know, my front recovery point held pretty good when I got hung up on this irritating little waterfall. (Thanks again Nathan)

    LR3 Tires

Bmorey, congrats on your purchase. I am in SD as well. As far as tires go, what part of our fine city do plan on venturing to? Are you going to keep it on the street? Run trails out in Borrego? Make your decision based on how you will be using your new truck. Evans tire has been pretty good...

    LR3 Brush Bar issues....

Sorry we couldn't help you more Ron. Don't see many LR3's with that appearance package. Be patient, maybe someone with your exact situation will chime in. Good luck. DD

    LR3 Brush Bar issues....

Ron, I did not have the appearance package on my truck when I installed mine, but from what I can see from your pics your brushgaurd may not be compatible with that section of your front bumper. It hangs down too low. Wait and see what your vendor and or dealer says. You may need to do a...

    LR3 Brush Bar issues....

Ron, It's been a while, but I remember having to trim the plastic piece you take off to get to the recovery point. If you post some pics of the area you are having trouble with I'm sure more will chime in. DD

They do look like the KM2's. Even with the rod mod you would think they would have a tough time running something that big. I have a feeling Urban Offroad is going to receive a call or two about what make and size tires these are. If anyone contacts these guys please report back.

So while scrolling through eBay listings...

BFG only shows a 32.7 x 12.2 in the MT line, these tires don't look that big. Goodyear Duratrac is a good guess but it doesn't look like the side lug patterns are the same. Can anyone provide inside info?

So while scrolling through eBay listings...

Anyone who can tell me what tires on that beast? My guess are Cooper STT's, but the tread design looks a tid-bit different... That is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the photo. So I guess it's time for a game of NAME THAT TIRE.
