Seeking advice - LR3 Spare Tire
I don't know if a fully inflated 285/60-18 will fit even with a trimmed shield. It's about .4" larger in dia. than the 275/60-18 and the 275/60 was a tight fit. I have seen some LR3's with the shield removed, there are only 4 bolts holding it in place, but I wanted to keep mine in place. You... -
Seeking advice - LR3 Spare Tire
Keep an eye on ebay. I picked up a spare 18" lr3 wheel with tpms for about $125. In case you haven't tired yet, a fully inflated 275/60-18 will fit in the spare tire area if you trim the center of the plastic shield. At least mine did. -
New to LR and the LR3
The scheduled service is free while it is under warranty, but it doesn't cover wear items like wipers, tires, brake pads, etc. The service interval is 7500 miles IIRC. Magnaflow Exhaust Design Concepts
It's great to see someone making some parts for the LR3. Good job Magnaflow! I like the off-road version, but in the picture it looks like the tail pipe comes pretty close to the stock sized tires. This might be a problem for those of us running bigger tires. -

roverman, The stock Goodyears and the slimy clay/mud are not a good mix so I went about half way through the mud and then took a turn-off before the hole that the jeep got struck in. I tired to stay out of the deep stuff since I figured it would be much easier for the LR3 to pull the Jeep out... -

Oil Leak at 9500miles???
If you haven't found your oil leak yet, have your dealer check the front cover of the engine. Ours, also a '06 SE, developed a leak at about 8500 miles and this was the problem. J.D.
