Upgrading stock audio
From what I've read, you'll need to keep that amp and add a second one, unless you want to completely remove the headunit (and some associated functionality). Sound from the HU goes to the amp via a fibre bus, so you can't tap until after the amp itself. I've considered a similar project, but... -

According to the folks on Disco3 this is possible. The only concern that i'd have is that the entry point for the grab bars wouldn't line up exactly with the headrest backwards; you can probably tell simply by looking at the headrests from the side to see if theres a nice centerline for both... -
