Mine has a noticeable loss in volume (**** preamp I imagine) and the phone calls are very low. It’s an early IDCore. Otherwise it’s perfect and I can’t live without it. -

I’d never jump to a $5000 timing chain job if this truck popped a code once… not relying on Rover electronics for that. I’ll wait til I hear the slap or get a consistent cam/crank correlation code. -

I did an entire timing belt service on my old Subaru because of a bad OEM cam sensor right out of the box. Start with the cheapest/easiest fix first. -

Yup, you can finagle the canister around a bit and get the DMTL pump out. It’s annoying, but not difficult. -

I would be surprised if it went for more than $12. Chain service doesn’t matter, look at the past results. The market has REALLY cooled down unless you have a 13 or 14-16 with under 50-60k you’re not getting anything for it. Maybe if you have perfect service records and you have a Rover... -

LC parts are expensive AF especially if you are going OEM. Plenty of crazies buy 150k+ mile examples for $15k, then depend $6-7k “baselining” before any mods. Then they’ll go ahead and say Rovers are money pits. -

Never had a problem aired down with my XL rated Toyo AT3s. I have almost 40k on my 225/60-19 AT3s, they have about 15-20k left but they’ve started to hydroplane badly. I’m moving to 18s for the best set of tires, so no more Toyos for me. They’ve been great otherwise. -

I wouldn’t worry about the sidewalls much as long as you get XL rated tires so you can safely carry the truck up to max GVWR. I regularly air my 255/60-19 Toyos to 15 psi and even drive 15-20 minutes at 45-50mph at that pressure with no issues. I would never ever under any circumstance run a... -

There’s a guy in Europe running 255/70-18 BFG ATs. That’s the size I plan on upgrading to end of the year, same height as 275/65-18 which many run successfully
