What kind of Tire life should I expect on BFG AT's???

Kelly Safari TSR, very similar to the Dura-tracs. Yes 32".

Do you regret keeping it past warranty?

The LR4 just feels a little too nice for mud. What was the last year for black fenders extensions and black mirrors? Id take one of those with low miles first! I'm with you man! But remember that's what all the D2 guys were saying about our LR3's when they first came out. So I can't cast...

What kind of Tire life should I expect on BFG AT's???

I ran them on all my tacoma's and got good mileage out of them. I have concluded that tires that do well on one vehicle, might not do so well on another. So you just have to experiment and find a tire that suits your needs and driving style.

What kind of Tire life should I expect on BFG AT's???

I had mine for two years. Had mixed opinions on the BFG's. They were tough as nails as far as sidewall resistance is concerned but lacked traction on large rocks even aired down to 20lbs they just were not as "sticky" as I would have liked them to be. Lots of chunking on the side lugs I think...

RS sliders paid for themselves this weekend >>

Admire your attidude Bigs. The next time you encounter an obstacle like this you will know which line to take. For most of us, learning proper wheel placement is an ongoing lesson at which I consider myself to be a lifetime student. Glad you made it through without incident.

    Tire-General Grabber AT2,

If I were strictly on-road, I would go with some Michelin cross terrains or something comparable.

Things I have done with my Faultmate MSV-2!!!

Thank you Gentlemen, Think I might just go with the FCR. Just need something to read and clear faults to get me going again if the truck decides to throw a tantrum out on the trail.

Ryan, were you able to recalibrate your height sensors with just the stand alone unit? Or did have to do it through the computer with MSV software?

    Rasta Swing Away Tire Carrier...Thoughts?

Here is some close ups of the Rasta set up. Very clean, looks like stock. Glad I pulled the trigger on one of these when BP had them in stock. Have had it for about three years now and has been rock solid. No shaking or vibration on the trail. If you can get your hands on one, I highly recommend it.

The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread

Only had the TSR's out once in the month I have had them. Trail was moderate so I have not had the chance to give them a good workout. I will post negatives and positives to that nine mile long tire thread we have somewhere.

    All-Terrain Tires. Let's have a conversation.

Well congrats Houm. Good luck with that! I have two, I'm done.

I know the LR3 has a rock crawl mode, but...

Bean, don't be discouraged AT ALL. Trail experience is king, more trails=more confidence. Follow Ryan's adivice and join your local club. You will be rolling over stuff you thought was impossible in no time.

    All-Terrain Tires. Let's have a conversation.

So far so good, a little more humming than the BFG's. But since my roof rack is so noisy it sort of drowns them out. Going to Sierra's in September with the San Diego club so we'll see how they hold up. To Houm; thanks for saying so. My wife was slightly irritated about the look but she'll...
