Hi guys. Just got my LR professionally detailed. The guy said he used a product by simoniz which has Teflon in it. supposedly it lasts 2 years according to him. He said I do not need to use product to wash the car. Just water and the dirt will slide off. I think it is BS. anyway, the truck... -

overall I am very satisfied with the LR4. I agree with some of the stuff mentioned earlier, but a lot of these issues should have been noticed before the truck was baught. I had a Lexus GX and I hated the fact that the tailgate opened like a door. Actually that was the major complaint a lot... -

Will I miss the locking differential?

David, WHen you put the Climate control in AUTO mode, the blower will run at a very high speed depending on the inside, outside and the selected temperatures. When you go from AUTO to MANUAL the fan speed will go down to the preselected speed you had before AUTO mode. In manual mode if you... -

Climate Control Question
Hi David, I tried it this morning and haven't noticed a difference in blower power when in Auto mode or manual. When the fan is in full blast in either mode it is so powerful that I feel the pressure change in my ears when the windows are closed. -

How do I add back-up camera to LR4?
I've been thinking about doing that also, but I haven't found any answers so far. I may end up adding one where the screen is in the rear view mirror. -

About to Buy a LR4??
Since the loaded lr4 was part of an off road school, it was probably driven hard and in off road conditions by people who don't own the car and don't care about the way they drive it. I would be cautious about this one! -

Required Service message
Hi rob, I have had the same thing. They go by what they call the delivery date. That is the date when the vehicle got to the dealer and not the milage. Call the dealer and find out what the date is and make sure you do the service within a calendar year of that date or LR will not pay for... -
