If you buy it and want to get rid of it, PM me. I'm looking to add both that bumper and the lights. The holes are pretty small, and could be plugged pretty easily I would think.
They are the exclusive distributor in the U.S., so unless you can find a used one on Ebay or something, they're your only source here. Les was very helpful and accommodating about everything though. Besides their slightly higher than desired prices, I have no complaints about them and would...
I did use silicone sealant and the caps are extremely tight fitting. Had to use a rubber mallet to pound them on actually. So they're not going to fly off in the wind. I have seen some interesting flooring ideas, but haven't decided to do anything there yet. I would like to add a wind deflector...
OK, here's my version of the Brownchurch Rack Mod to get around the Satellite Antenna. Piece of cake - hat tip to duckdive for talking me through it.
After cutting the one piece out, I took the piece down to the local hardward store and got a furniture plug that fit the size exactly to finish...
Did you get the full length one or the one that just comes up to the end of the rails? I've only seen the full length ones, but considered getting the shorter one.
Duckdive - Thanks for talking to me the other day about your install of the Brownchurch rack modified for the antenna. I just got mine from Rovers North as well and noticed that there are no install instructions. It came with a box of geniune Land Rover mounting hardware though, so I'm guessing...
Yes America's Tire / Discount Tire has these now, or can get them for you anyway. I talked to my tire guy last week. The Goodyear truck was unloading a bunch in 16" sizes when I was there. He confirmed that they are available in 255/55/19 now, but at around $360/tire. He said to wait another 6...
Roof tents usually have built-in foam mattresses in the base, so they're extra comfy. But I agree with roverman, coolness is the main reason to have one of these. The treehouse factor for big kids.
I'm still using a Sportz SUV tent that connects to the back of the LR3. Although I don't...
Is that Wilderness Rack an ARB item too? Looks nice. Wish it mounted a little closer or directly on the rails like the Brownchurch though. But the sloped front and V bars are a nice look.
I can confirm that the 19" MT/R's are now available here in the U.S. Was at America's Tire this morning, and the store manager confirmed it for me. $360 per tire at the moment though. :ahhhhh: He said to wait, since they just came out, unles I really wanted them. They should be in the $286 range...
You would have to replace the fenders too. There's no going back once you cut them obviously. You could save the bumper though, and just buy new fenders if you wanted to go back to the original look. I love this bumper and would get it if I could justify it. Maybe someday.
Hi there. New to this forum, but active on others related to the Range Rover Sport specifically. I have an 06 Sport, lightly modified for off road use. Did the Great Divide in it with OffRoving.com last August 07 - featured in LRL Magazine. Recently had our fourth child (3rd son), so I switched...
