I also love my LR4, BUT, IMHO, when you add it all up, and adjust expectations to be realistic, I think you are correct about the new Defender. Congrats! I think you will love it as well, and I look forward to your review and opinions once it's in your driveway!....(and some pic's). -

Where did you find 1" Proud Rhinos? I've not been able to locate. At least not on Lucky 8's site or through a search, but I haven't called them. I know Johnson makes 1.5". Thanks ! -

I think you are correct on that. If you asked JLR, they would say that's what the Disco 5 is meant to do...Although I consider the Disco 5 superior to those others. I'm spoiled by my LR4...IMHO, it bests all of them including the 5.- LB Bill

2020 defender off road pack - rear locker
A little hard to tell where you are in the process, but why not just order a Defender the way you want it? I think you can order a nicely spec'd truck w the off road pack (rear locker incl.) for around $80K. But if you really need one that quickly, one that's from coming inventory that's not...- LB Bill

LAND ROVER DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR VEHICLES OR THEIR CUSTOMERS.
If you've done, or you do, some research, you will discover that the problem is chronic (maybe endemic is a better word) to LR vehicles with sunroofs and that JLR is well aware of it. There are even some recommended maintenance procedures out there in order to avoid the problems...supposedly...- LB Bill
