OEM rubber floor mats
Depends on what you use the truck for. I got the OEM mats for all 3 rows and the cargo mat. We use it for skiing/snow and for putting the dogs in the back of the truck. I don't feel like I need the sidewalls. The OEM mats are pretty thick, and the grooves hold a fair amount of liquid as it is. -

Surprised by poor snow performance
How would you say they compare with the stock Contis for non-winter driving on paved roads and dirt? (e.g., road noise, mileage, grip, etc.) In other words, is there such a thing as a one-size-fits all tire that I can use all year, or do I need to get special snow tires for snow? My issue... -

whatever. I'm a fan of clean air and not relying on foreign oil. remember the 70's? the air sucked, the gasoline spread lead into the air and water supply (I'm not a fan of brain damage) and OPEC brought us to our knees. But hey, I guess I'm a Nazi because my second car gets good gas mileage. -

Agreed they are a huge rip-off. However, most insurance companies will give you a discount for DRLs (which these are), so it will offset some of the cost. So there's that. -

Surprised by poor snow performance
I've taken my LR4 up to the Eastern Sierras 4 times this winter and still haven't gotten the opportunity to drive on snow (other than a brief foray onto a field with about 6 inches of crunchy old snow to turn around)! Such a bad snow year. Just in case (and to comply with the law up there)... -

Reversing Camera Tram Line Overlay
Never knew that - thanks! That's pretty cool, and the picture and tram lines are great. Is the image processing the reason there is such a long lag between the time you shift into reverse and the time the image pops up on the screen? Takes much, much longer than our old Prius. -

Little feelings about the LR4.....
With the 2011 models and earlier, you have to plug the iPod into the special iPod jack, not the USB port, and it only works with the Land Rover cable. It's a big rip off and should just be included with the car, but you can't get upset about a $125 cable in the context of a $50-60k truck. -

way to hi-jack this thread! and, as long as we're hi-jacking, I've never been able to get my auto-high beams to work. I have the option selected in the vehicle settings menu. Any tips?
