Alignement vs. New Tires
Found the Pirelli Scorpion Zeros for 286.00 per tire, all out, will keep looking I guess. I noted that the edges of my fronts are more worn out than the tires at the rear, will definitely try rotation first and see if I can delay replacement by a few months. -

Looks like the rear muffler pipes (under the heat protectors) have surface rust on them... Are these stainless steel or are they your average steel pipes. Does it make sense to sand them lightly and perhaps paint them with high temp paint to reduce the likelihood of rust formation. I will... -

Increase mileage on LR3
Other quirky suggestions, replace wheels with 15 inch jobbies, use a canvas seat for the driver's seat, take out the AC and most of the stereo system components, get rid of the spare and jack, etc. . . . The list is endless :biggrin: -

Problems With the LR3
Does the dealer perform the alignment as part of the warranty coverage? My car is veering to the right and I have asked how much it would cost, they said 122.61. The car has a service contract as well up to 37,500 miles. Would appreciate your feedback. -

Lower Tailgate Moulding crooked on many LR3's
I doubt that this is normal. it is either the tailgate or the bumper, measure from the roof of the car down, it should be easy to tell if its the tailgate. If it was the bumper, it might take some more work depending on what had caused it in the first place, maybe a small bump . . -
